We have designed a Hebrew School program that will cater to all of our students (no matter the situation) for the upcoming school year. The program is titled:  Bringing it Home: Making Judaism come alive through experiential and interactive learning.

Chabad in Wellington’s Hebrew School is prepared for two tracks:
1. In-Person Hebrew School: Beginning after the Holidays on Sunday, October 18th.  Engaging classes following social distancing and all government guidelines.
2. Virtual Hebrew School: We will begin with a Virtual Hebrew School with our live teachers and engaging classes. We have prepared all Books, Crafts and Worksheets to be delivered to each student prior to the lessons!

Bringing it Home has been developed to ensure that the content is developmentally appropriate, challenging and user-friendly for children and parents. The curriculum is scaled to cater to each student within three age groups: K-2, 3-5 and 6-7

Our curriculum has been designed to be taught through a diverse set of mediums, including drama, construction, STEM, and stop-motion animation. The curriculum comprises seven units, focusing on lessons that are learned from each room of the home. The subjects will come alive as students learn about the Jewish holidays, empathy, respect and integrity among other life skills and Jewish values while exploring each room of their house.

A tremendous amount of energy and time was invested to make sure we send to each child the needed materials for the crafts, books and worksheets so registration is required in advance so that we can get each child what they need.
