Last year the Ark was opened and the Torah was taken out over 150 times. Each time the Torah is taken out a special prayer is said Blessing all of the families that support us through this initiative. And on Shabbat and Holidays EACH FAMILY NAME IS INDIVIDUALLY MENTIONED! Why do we ask for your monthly support? Over the years our ongoing expenses have risen. Not only because of inflation, rather the good news is that the Wellington Jewish Center is doing more now than ever before. We now have 2 full time Rabbis (which really means we get 4 full time employees!) that are providing hours of classes, hundreds of programs, countless hours of counseling and advice for teens, parents and adults. This past year alone we have taught more than 500 hours of education with almost 100 students per week! Your contribution goes directly to make sure the students can learn with the proper tools etc etc! Every dollar donated goes to make sure our Community grows. Please partner with us!
